Maud Underpass
The underpass at Maud carries the railway line over a footpath linking Station Road and Deer Road East.
It is flanked by two WW2 pill boxes, one of which can be seen on the right in the picture above. The flaking paint work covering the metal structure has recently been found to contain low levels of potentially toxic lead so the underpass is to be closed to allow for repainting.
